  5. After cooking for 5 minutes, serve with fresh coriander on top.

  • Green chilli – 1 (finely chopped)
  • Coriander leaves – 2 tbsp
  • Rock salt – according to taste
  • Water – 1/2 cup

  1. Add buckwheat flour, green chillies, coriander and rock salt in a bowl and prepare a solution with water.
  2. Heat the pan, apply ghee and add the cheela.
  3. Bake until golden and crispy on both sides. Serve hot.

  • Apple – 1 (chopped)
  • Banana – 1 (chopped)

  • Rock salt – according to taste
  • Black pepper – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Honey – 1 teaspoon

  1. Cut all the fruits and put them in a bowl.
  2. Add lemon juice, rock salt, black pepper and honey on top and mix well.

4. Water Chestnut Flour Halwa

Material :

  • Water chestnut flour – 1 cup
  • Ghee – 2 tbsp
  • Milk – 1 cup
  • Sugar – 1/2 cup
  • Cardamom powder – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Almonds and cashews – for garnishing

Ritual :

  1. Heat ghee in a pan, add water chestnut flour and fry till it turns light golden.
  2. Add milk, mix well and cook until the pudding thickens.
  3. Add sugar and mix well. Season with cardamom powder.

5. Sweet Potato Chaat

Shakarkandi, also known as sweet potato, is a very nutritious and tasty dish during fasting.

Material :

  • Sweet potato – 2 (boiled)
  • Rock salt – according to taste
  • Black pepper – 1/4 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice – 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander leaves – 2 tbsp

  1. Boil the sweet potato, peel it and cut it into small pieces.
  2. Add rock salt, black pepper, and lemon juice to the pieces and mix well.
  3. Add green coriander and serve.
